We had our meeting in Oulu Vocational College (OSAO). The first part of the day, we were with all mentors and mentees in one big hall (multi sensory environment), we realized one game about the description of one picture, and the main idea was exchange with other participants and described it in short time to another person.
The second part in this day, there was a presentation from a mentor in relationship with innovative learning environments. After that, in groups had a discussion about how use technological tools in innovative learning environments in different educational programs in OSAO.
In the learning is very important to develop positive emotions associated with an innovative learning environment (e.g. multi sensory environment), generating student interest to learn new content. In addition, with this type of environments the main idea is stimulate the senses and promote pleasure and/or feelings of well-being through multi-sensory equipment to improve and increasing our learning abilities.
The last part in this day; we were with our group (Let’s go edu), we had a small game and after that we realized some activities about our main qualities to perform different activities and about our qualities in the workplace, The idea was create a little presentation in our group about our abilities in the workplace. In addition, one mentor realized an interview simulating a real job interview to the mentees. We learnt a lot of different experiences about innovative learning environments, different processes as job interviews and also, I thought about my future career plans.
